Marshugana's began as a way for Marcia Belmont to help other Jewish men and women find someone special to share their lives with. Marcia had lived in many cities working long hours never finding what she truly wanted from life until she moved from New York to Seattle. There she learned to slow down, enjoy the outdoors and make great friends. She also found her husband. Ready to let it happen instead of forcing it, Marcia was lucky in life and love. She not only found a wonderful Jewish man, but more importantly a mensch.

Having found the love of her life, she wanted to help others find it too. She started in Seattle with her friends in the Northwest, and later when she moved to Tucson, she continued her efforts to help people in her new city.

Now that Marcia has moved to Portland, she is ready to take her nearly ten years of experience to help others find their soul mates. Through Marshugana's of Portland, she matches local Jewish men and women by employing a process similar to that of matchmakers in the past -- getting to know each member personally. Marcia listens to each member and is dedicated to understanding his or her needs and concerns. She provides support and advice and encourages members to let nature take its course by relaxing and enjoying the dating experience.
